BSAC EVENTS
The Big Stone Arts Council has been involved in a variety of arts
activities over the years. The main events we are involved in are listed
below.
Sports and Leisure Show
This is held in March and sponsored by the BSLA Chamber of Commerce. Stop
by our booth to enjoy artwork and demonstrations by local artists. Much of
the artwork is usually available for purchase.
Big Stone County Fair
This is held in July at the Big Stone County Fair Grounds. Stop by our art
exhibit to enjoy artwork and demonstrations by local artists. Artists are
welcome to work on site, photographing, painting, sculpting or sketching
their impressions of the fair.
Cornfest
This is held in August. Visit us in Lakeside Park and enjoy art displays,
demonstrations, live music and performances by local artists and
musicians. We make sure to include activities for all ages so bring the
whole family.
Art Meander
This is held in September and October in conjunction with the Upper
Minnesota River Art Crawl. It's a self-guided tour featuring a variety of
local artwork displayed in locations like the Red Barn, Otrey Lake
Gallery, and Sherman Studio. We invite you to enjoy a leisurely browse
through one of the best arts events of the year.

WAYS TO SUPPORT BSAC
Show your support for area artists by visiting our events. Local artists
appreciate your interest in their work.
We also invite you to join BSAC at your chosen level of membership.
Memberships start at $20 for an individual membership, then increase to
$40 for a family membership, and so on. (Artists must be a member in order
to participate in exhibit events.)
